Is Recruit of Talionis in YOUR State or Country?

For the first 30 days of Recruit of Talionis’s life, we will be having a fun challenge/game — and I need your help to make it amazing!
(Though much of this challenge will take place on social media, you don’t need to be on social media to play! Simply send me your picture via email and tell me what state or country you live in.)

How to play

• Take a fun/silly/creative picture of you reading Recruit of Talionis in your hometown (or, if your traveling, in some fun and exotic location!) (Those who truly loathe being in pictures can send in a picture of just the book)
• Post on Social Media with the hashtags #RECRUITOFTALIONIS and #HereisRECRUIT
  OR Email your picture to me. Be sure to share what state or country you live in!
• Tag (or tell) friends to participate in the challenge (a point for each friend tagged — 3 points if they actually participate)
• Points will be awarded for creativity
• Together let’s see how many places Recruit of Talionis can show up in the first 30 days of its life!
• Everyone (who wants to) will get featured in the gallery below alongside a map that shows each state and country represented
• At the end of the launch, there will be a team of judges who review each picture and prizes will be awarded!

America has fallen.

Seventeen-year-old Bria Averton grew up in a small town of survivors near the ruins of Portland, Maine. It’s all she’s ever known — until she’s kidnapped along with hundreds of other teens and brought to the city of Talionis. A city no one knew existed.

The soldiers tell them the intense trainings are for the good of the survivors, and Bria resists being forced into a new life as a recruited soldier. But she soon finds the dangers in the city are greater than she imagined.

Escape is impossible, and Bria fears drowning in the evil of the city… and the guilt from her own past. But can she find hope, even here?
