How to Walk in What God is Calling You to When the World is Falling Apart

We live in dark and uncertain times, times that can seem devoid of hope. So how do we pursue what we believe God is calling us to in a crumbling world? Is it even worth trying to do so? The answer is yes. Let’s talk about why.

The Power of Stories to Teach Life Lessons…When a Sermon Just Isn’t Cutting It

Do you ever wonder why stories have such a powerful effect on our lives? Think of how amazing it is that Jesus told stories (parables) and we’re still talking about them and learning from them today. Sometimes we don’t need to hear a sermon. We need to be told a story. Let’s talk about why and see how God has so graciously used stories through His word and still uses them to touch our hearts today.

How to Walk by Faith and Overcome Fear

Over the years God has called me to take steps of faith that seemed overwhelming and, quite frankly, impossible. There were times, I’m sad to say, I let fear win and keep me from stepping out into what God had for me to do. But there have been other times where I have pressed forward despite my fears and witnessed God work in mind-blowing ways. Let’s talk about some practical tips for how to walk by faith and overcome fear.

Why Comparison is Destructive

Comparison steals our joy, taps into covetousness and envy, which are sin, and puts our eyes on others and off what God is doing and wants to do in our own lives. It can hit us in the strangest of ways, and discourage us from pressing forward in what God has called us to do. With this topic, we’ll discuss how to escape the trap of comparison and walk in the freedom and purpose God has for our lives.

How to Discover Purpose in Your Singleness

In a culture obsessed with relationships, it’s easy to think that we won’t be “fulfilled” until we are in a relationship. But I’m here to say that singleness can be a powerful and amazing season of life. God has a purpose for us, no matter what our relationship status may be. As a woman in her early thirties who’s single, I can say that Jesus is enough, and that discovering the purpose He has for you in your singleness can be life-changing.

How to Walk in God’s Calling for Your Life, Even When Others Don’t Understand

Sometimes God calls us to walk in things that don’t make sense to us… or to others. So how do you move forward and do what He has for you to do?
